I met a lot of smart coworkers. People who do this work are nice people. Helping people feels good. Health insurance is very good.

Very overworked and underpaid. The employees make so little money that they qualify for the services offered. There is not enough PTO. Managers are either avoiding contact with staff or micromanaging. No one listens to the needs or ideas of the staff. They don’t do exit interviews. They do not value institutional knowledge. Because there is such high turnover, everyone is constantly in training so no one is fully trained.
