The senior management kept saying it was a family company with plenty of career progression but every time positions came available that lower management agreed I'd be ideal for was always overlooked and not even colleagues got the gigs, always outsiders. Awful communication too, wanted everyone to be a team but wouldn't share a lot of details to keep people in the loop.
