You get to immerse yourself further into the city that you're representing which leads to great connections and experiences. If you like events, nightlife, being outside, and supporting local businesses, you'll fit right in.
Hybrid/remote work model is also a great plus.
Great stepping stone into different fields and positions at other companies and industries.
Kontras
A lot of work is put on this department and the pay isn't great when you factor that in. Great at first but can wear on you fast. Not all cities have a local office and if you're in one without it or without a coworker living close to you, you may feel a little isolated.
Content Manager is on the low end of the totem pole. Your experience could be better if you're outside of that department.
