• 5 Years Experience in the Field • Must have Full GMC registration with a license to practice in UK • Having worked in the NHS (National Health Service) • Must have a post graduate qualification in Ophthalmology • Male Candidates preferred • 30 to 50 years can apply • Salary range will be £ 64,500 per annum + performance based bonus + National Insurance and pension contributions • A free accommodation for 1 month • will also assist you in obtaining essential compliance viz. appraisal & revalidation, mandatory training, basic life support, medical indemnity insurance etc • You will be entitled to 28 days' paid leave and 7 days' sick leave.

The post we are offering will involve • refracting patients • dispensing glasses and contact lense • screening for cataract • glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy • lasers for glaucoma and DR • intravitreal injections for ARMD and DR • collagen cross linking for keratoconus • Minor eye surgery. • Also introduce some new interventions for myopia and diabetic retinopathy. • There will be no cataract/ squint/ glaucoma/ VR surgery.
