Destify is obsessed with its culture, and its operational conceits. A near-religious obsession to the prevailing system in place (EOS) means there's an underlining rigidity that becomes instantly problematic for the uninitiated. In lesser terms? They toss you a book to read, and expect you'll immediately understand the litany of acronyms, and measurables you will be held accountable for — or else. The ability to offer constructive criticism is met immediately with ire instead of seeking to learn and discuss. There is a very heavy-handed hierarchy in place; behind any would-be titles, are tenured employees whose opinions hold powerful sway. This means anyone attempting to offer a difference of opinion is often ignored, corrected, or "reported to the principal" for immediate reeducation. So... you either "get it", or you get a polite boot out the door, never to be heard from again.
