Pros

1. Strong work-life balance policy with the flexibility to work remotely. 2. Very generous PTO and sick leave policies. 3. My role has lots of variety outside of my core job which keeps me engaged and learning new things. 4. Team culture is strong, supportive, and collaborative. 5. Deltek is always on the cusp of new technology and engages the employees to utilize it in their work, such as AI. 6. Satisfied with salary which feels fair for the responsibilities and market.

Kontras

1. Health insurance for US employees could be more comprehensive. The plans rely heavy on pre-authorizations. 2. Recent layoffs have disproportionally affected US staff, while new jobs being created are mostly offshore in India. 3. Bonus structure for non-sales roles feels inequitable. Individual contributors have little control on the metrics that determine their bonus. 4. 401K is way below the standard for company matching, @ just 2% (the employer match is 50% of the first 4% of your total actual gross earnings). Average company match in the USA is @ about 4.6%!
