Pros
If your an outdoor / sports enthusiast you get to share your passion with every customer that walks through the doors. The people that generally work at Dick's are fun and outgoing individuals and everyone seems to get along real well. As a person that loves hunting and fishing, It is great to see all the new products that come in with regards to those fields.
Kontras
Management does a great job of pushing things not in your job title and or description off on people, but do not wish to pay those individuals any extra. ie: Taking on duties that only managers should be doing. At times they are very hypocritical, telling associates not to do certain things, but then end up doing those things anyways. They issue written warnings if your a few minutes late ( anything over 5mins), but constantly ask one to stay later, or expect people to come in on days not scheduled.
