Most (not all) executives appear to care more about loyalty their egos being catered to and therefore seek out "yes men" to fill key roles. Anyone who brings up issues will be gaslit by management in order to avoid rocking the boat. Turnover rate has gotten exceedingly high in recent years. Most state similar issues.
