Pros

They provided lots of food and drinks.

Kontras

Company values were created by the CEO; he never engaged the staff in an effort to help establish values and then wondered why people never lived up to those values. Upper management lacks emotional maturity; controlling dysfunctional behavior.

Thank you for sharing your perspective as a former employee. Creating and defining company values has always been an active process involving employees at every level. Over the past few years, informal, small group conversations have been held to discuss company values and the output of all efforts is a clear, detailed document defining our shared values of service, responsibility, humility & humor, responsibility and teamwork. New employees who join are regularly impressed at the clear focus and thoughtfulness we give to fostering a great culture at Credo.

Pros

Helpful colleagues and leadership work from home freedom High value of employees and catering to their strengths

Kontras

Growth could be limiting as it wasn't a huge company, but that is a reflection of the size of the organization

Pros

The benefits are great, and I love the culture. Very family friendly, and good opportunities for advancement if you show initiative and work hard. Because Credo is friendly to remote employees, I can work in an industry that essentially doesn't exist in my city or state. I have a great relationship with my boss and CEO - I feel that I have been given the room and trust to experiment, learn from mistakes, and continue to grow in my role. I find the work is very rewarding, and even when it is hard, I mostly feel energized by the challenge.

Kontras

Not necessarily cons, but things to be aware of: small staff, so everyone has to pull their weight, plus more. A lot of meetings for my role, but they are typically short (one hour or less). As a remote employee, your communication skills have to be extremely strong. The work is fast paced, so you have to speak up in meetings, or you get left behind. Everyone has to buy in to the mission and task at hand, or it shows. Employees at Credo who do best tend to have a mixture of skills: you have to be creative, innovative, but also process driven and detail oriented, which can be a challenge for some people.
