Pros

Opportunity to work in a re-start of an organization with new management. CEO has a vision of creating a highly competitive company.

Kontras

Low revenues prohibited development of products and services. Owner had never managed people before only projects and did not understand an environment of empowerment.. Owner was not professional, His language and behaviors were unacceptable.

Pros

I had a great experience working at Continuity Programs. The staff at this company is close-knit and they are like a family. The management is clear about their goals and aspirations and they share them with everyone from management to admins. There is always plenty of work so I was never bored...I always felt needed and valued. Also, I have three young children, and Continuity was flexible when I had family emergencies to deal with. Overall, was a great place to work.

Pros

A small family run business of 12 people. The President and CFO/ HR director are husband and wife and the CFO's sister works in accounting. Management is considerate of work-life balance and will usually allow you to make up time if you want to attend your child's school events. They do encourage outside growth and education. The President and CFO paid for a one day class on continuing education, of their choice, to help you in your job. The benefits are good, they have a good health and dental plan that you pay into. They give you nine paid holidays and then 10 PTO days annually but they do not roll over or get paid out if you don't use them. They have a contributing 401k plan.

Kontras

This place is better on paper than in reality. The President comes from a big corporate environment in Sales. He has no experience running a company. There is no ethnic diversity. The staff majority is white women. The President has a tendency to make sexist remarks regarding that fact. Management states corporate culture and customer service is important to them but then make ethical choices that don't coincide with those values.
