Good experience for working with tech and how to set up lighting and build stages. Great way to get your foot into the door of the events industry if that is something you are interested in.

Highly irregular work hours and vastly varying hours per week of work depending on time of year. Office management is poor and dishonest. Creates a sense of distrust between the on site crew and office staff. Low overtime bonus and no nightshift bonus.

Effective management, easy to talk with.

If you plan to do it full time, can be hectic at times. Many jobs are 2-3 hours and requires you to travel a lot.
