Pros

Very supportive and understanding of mental health concerns as well as physical illness Flexible with working hours Making a concerted effort on improving diversity and inclusion Some managers take team-leading seriously and work with the team and motivate them well, and provide honest constructive feedback

Kontras

Can feel like a cog in a machine at times Work/Life balance can be poor at busier times of the year Processes and communication with internal staff can be frustratingly lacking or incomplete Some managers lack skills to manage and are simply there as they have been in the company long enough to be promoted Compliance training is very dull and hard to retain as it's too boring to remember clearly

Pros

The only pro is that you can do this job while sitting. This job is only good for a physically handicapped person.

Kontras

Terrible management that will belittle you at all costs. Systems that don't work well. Horrible interactions with callers on a daily basis. There isn't any other reason to take this job unless you're physically handicapped. The stock, which trades on the Australian stock exchange, is also in the tank right now. The company is currently in the middle of an identity crisis where they tried to rebrand to equateplus, but cant figure the systems out, so they are trying to be 2 companies without reimbursing employees or shareholders for juggling both. And only 1 company is publicly traded, so if you invest in them they're just robbing you. Avoid avoid avoid at all costs and DO NOT go to work for this toxic company. The company only makes money on call center employees, and they treat them worse than anything I've ever experienced in my life. I've worked for some toxic places in the past, and nothing compares to Computershare they are the ABSOLUTE WORST. There's about 20,000 employees, and only around 200-300 call center employees, so just know that you're paying the salary of 99 people who do absolutely nothing productive for the company by going to work for the call center. You'll be locked up in your house, and physically chained to your desk by wired headset for 8 hours a day, while being aggressively monitored for every word you speak and every move you make.
