Pros
The review set up was pretty standard, but there was a lot of positives with working at CDS Legal. The Project Managers were very nice, approachable, and available for help. They gave you good feedback promptly so that you can correct any mistakes. They were upfront about project projections so that you can prepare if the project will end soon. 2 things that really stood out was the review location in Flatiron, which is one of the better ones in my opinion, and the dress code, which is mostly casual except on trainings days or client visits. I had a great experience working at CDS Legal and would work there again if I have the chance.
Kontras
The only frustrating thing, which is not exclusive to CDS, is hiring poor performing attorneys that still get paid the same rate. I have seen attorneys that I know have billed full days and only done 30 mins of actual work get rehired too often, even when they get let go prior to project completion for poor performance. I cannot stand seeing other attorneys working so little and getting paid the same as the ones that actually put in effort. I know that people have their own lives and businesses, but there is a balance that has to be met. It takes too much for agencies to stop hiring these poor performers.
