Pros
The nurses I worked with where wonderful and worked as a team at least on the PM shift. There was no back biting between nurses except for 2 on that shift who did not work well with others but they ended up changing shifts because they could handle being part of a team which left the rest of us able to be stronger and more productive.
Kontras
Administration was horrible. They only communicated with you when there was something negative to say never to raise you up with all the positive work you did. As a charge nurse administration would try to pit me against the floor nurses and was always on the charge nurses case if we were not disciplinary in our handling of our nurses. I finally had to quit and was so burned I did not know if I ever wanted to work as a nurse again.
