In my specific program, I have a lot of flexibility. The hierarchy is flattened so my supervisor and I see each other as equals and make decisions jointly. I have the freedom to be creative and the support and mentorship to continue to grow.

At times, I hear things I wish I didn't know. It can be disheartening to hear of such selfish things happening in an organization whose mission is to help the less fortunate.
