Lots of autonomy - teams are free to implement solutions however they see fit. The level of trust is high. Promotions appear to actually happen so there is a ladder there should you wish to climb it.

Some red tape and slow moving processes in some areas, pretty normal in a company this size. The main business is focused on fibre optic cable manufacture and related infrastructure. If you're working outside of that core business then sometimes you don't really feel like you're part of the company - more of a side dish on the company balance sheet.
