Pros

Good financially solid company. focus on niche market so they do well. flexible work hours. allows telecommuting but the office wind up to be like a tumbling weed environment as no one will be in at a given week as even assistance work from home

NYC office environment is very cliquey. Underwriting Manager in the CIS dept instigates cliques and favors certain type of employees who do whatever he ask. Goes out of his way to isolate employees who don't fit in regardless of job performance. He will deliberately push employee out the door if you don't fit in. Very unhealthy and unethical dept of Chubb. It's really ashame as Chubb as a whole is a good company to work for.

The result is heavy manual workarounds propping up half-finished solutions. Strategic direction shifts frequently, and ongoing layoff announcements make it difficult to plan or build momentum.
