Pros

Overall mission is great for the crypto industry.

The culture has shifted and spiraled to toxic faster than anyone could comprehend. I've been gone from the company for over a year and still cringe at the negative and even hostile work environment created by poor leadership and middle management - who neither have the technical acumen about crypto nor the necessary people management skills - to properly lead a team. The company exploded in headcount with no scalable infrastructure to grow efficiently. The turnover and attrition rate of the incredible talent is intolerable (ie 10+ investigators from an ~30 person team in the span of 8 months..). And the horror stories from people still at the company is concerning - most stayed for the once great benefits that have since been cut - and I will not be at all surprised to see a greater spike in turnover. Overall it's sad that a once fantastic and exciting place to work has devolved into a toxic vat of egotistical competition and self preservation. The people that care for the mission are burned out and the only ones loving the company are really good at brown nosing. Absolutely would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

-Genuinely mission-driven company doing important work; the product matters and you feel it -Strong earning potential as an AE if you perform - big deals are winnable and the brand carries real weight in the market -When teams rally around a deal, it's a powerful thing to be part of

Kontras

-Operates in silos — product and GTM roadmaps and requirements are disjointed. -Roadmap and vision shift frequently, making it hard to sell a consistent story to customers or plan beyond a quarter

Pros

The product itself is impressive, it's the kind of work you can feel proud of. Beyond that, the company makes a real effort to keep the team connected. Even though we're fully remote, there are regular opportunities to get together in person, which goes a long way toward building real relationships with your colleagues.

Kontras

Things can change quickly — priorities, processes, even team structures. It can be a lot to keep up with at times. That said, it's hard to hold it against the company given how fast the industry moves. It's really just the nature of operating in such a dynamic space and I think that it can be exciting honeslt .
