Took me two years to decide to write this. I was fired due to ridiculous claims made by a client after accidentally bringing the clients old phone into my car and stayed in my car until the next morning. They claimed I accessed their Facebook/photos/personal info and knew their code but the night before gave me a cash tip for excellent service. I am not the type of person to ever look through someone’s personal items. I was given no chance to fight the wild accusations and even could have proved she was mistaken. She received an email saying someone had accessed her Facebook account. I wonder could that have been the customer herself logging in on her new phone?? I mean come on. As I was terminated I didn’t really care at the time just due to the ridiculousness of a company willing to do that to a loyal , moral employee. As well as having a better opportunity already lined up. The bad doesn’t end there. My “final” paycheck came out to a meager $270…. I am a numbers guy and swore up and down it was over $2000 off…. Which they swore was not true and the $270 was my final check. You can imagine my surprise when just last week(2 years later) I received a notice from the state of Florida of $2300 of “unclaimed” wages from… guess who? Cellular Sales. Now how does a company hold $2300 of hard earned money for over 2 years without so much as a phone call or email to said employee letting me know “hey you were right , here’s your $2000.” How else can you explain this? How does $2300 go unnoticed and I’d like to point out I even emailed the finance office in an attempt to scour through my pay to find where this money went when I was first let go 2 years ago. I moved in the last year as well so if they even sent a check at some point and it gets returned to sender, could they not call or email me….???? run far away from this company. I could have gotten over the customer is always right aspect, mostly due to knowing I had a better job waiting …. But I can’t get over shady pay and not supporting your employees. Would love some sort of response or explanation that may help me delete this in the future.
