The benefits are great, like PTO and the health insurance is decent. Work-life balance is usually fairly good as well.

Their merit increase system for pay is awful. You will have an annual review each year, which is the only time you are able to get a raise. There is a scale of 1-5 for how your performance has been ranked by your supervisor. No matter how hard you try and how you perform, you will never get above a 3. I asked about it in my last years review and I was told it is virtually impossible to get a 4 and IMPOSSIBLE to get a 5. This will be followed with your meager pay increase of 3% annually. When inflation is 9% and your yearly increase is 3%, you are making less every year.
