I have been blown away how kind, empathetic and authentic the CNote team and culture are. They have brought together a team of smart but very emotionally intelligent people and it shows. A really cool team to be a part of - much more nimble, kind and healthy than I expected for a high-growth fintech.

It's a fully distributed team. If you are looking to come in the office and have that in-person team networking, may not be the best fit.

Beware: DO NOT WORK AT THIS COMPANY. Cnote is the most toxic work environment I have ever been a part of. First things first: the vast majority of regular employees here are kind people. Unfortunately the senior leadership (hello board! why haven't you removed the co-founders who have no business leading this company?) are completely inept, changing the direction of the company every other day it seems at times, and have created a toxic work environment where folks fear being terminated at any time. Every single employee talks about senior leadership behind their backs FYI. There is bullying and favoritism at play constantly, everything is your fault (not ever the senior leadership's fault), there is no mechanism in place to report this horrific work environment, and every single employee is looking to run as far away as they can as they secretly interview elsewhere. Be prepared to work 24/7 with no respect for boundaries while the senior leadership tries to plug the holes on a fast sinking ship (funding will run out soon and they are bleeding money and making no profit). Stay as far away from this company as you can it is the most miserable toxic work environment I have ever been a part of, my mental health every day is declining further, and every single employee is currently miserable at the mistreatment, intimidation, bullying, and demands from senior leadership. Lastly, it is quite ironic that the so called "values" this company claims to have are the complete opposite of what Cnote actually represents. DO NOT WORK HERE! Company won't be around for very much longer :)
