Great colleagues, flexible work culture - Manager bei CLASP: Mitarbeiterbewertung

CLASP is a go-to organization for all-things appliance energy efficiency. On the internet, there is hardly a document or a regulation on appliance energy efficiency standards and labeling, that CLASP is not involved in. CLASP and its people are a wealth of knowledge and I appreciate all that I have learnt. As an intern CLASP gave me an opportunity to be on calls with with senior technocrats from different countries. They trusted me with important and meaningful work. They are just kind people and the atmosphere is relaxed. They really care for their employees. I have an opportunity to work from home when the team works from home. As a student they are mindful of my grad school schedule. My boss has monthly check-ins with me to have overall feedback. I am clearly told what is expected of me. Whenever I am assigned any work it is an iterative process and I can go back to my boss and suggest different approaches etc. They are very gender balanced. CEO welcomes every single member of the team through a personalized email even interns. I also got Christmas/New Year's time-off and got paid for it. I mean who does that for an intern. I rest my case haha...

Amazing mission with great results.

Firstly, the interview process felt like the HR was waiting for you to slip up. She was not prepared with interview questions and would constantly interject when you try to respond. After inquiry with the other team members, she did the same in their interviews.Shocking no one has said anything about it yet. It's a miracle I was hired but definitely be prepared for a terrible screening process. And an even look warm exit interview when you opt to leave. The workload is insane, granted the team is lean but it affects your work-life balance.
