Great management - it's clear that everyone is on the same team, but some people happen to have direct reports and are responsible for others' performance and growth. The strong commitment to customer satisfaction can really leave an engineer wanting better work/life balance. As a young guy it's not TOO bad but looking down the road to a family and children I'm not sure I could keep doing it even with an understanding spouse. Weekend cuts, late-night cuts, general bending over backwards for clients and what I think are unreasonable expectations of "reachability" on my "off hours" can really take their toll.
