The organization is very flat. There almost no structural barriers to advancement.

The downside of that coin is that there is little in the way of planned career development. Very informal. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit or are simple ambitious and self-motivated/taught, it is a great environment. If you prefer the more structured corporate path, choose a larger company.
