ByteDance pursues lines of business outside and unrelated to TikTok which it doesn't understand. - Bureaucratic, preferring research and report writing over real market testing and validation.  - Incompetent managers with no relevant experience. - Hierarchical organization in which employees are seen and not heard. - No information sharing or teamwork. Communication occurs only when orders are issued. - Low quality talent. - Strong China bias. - No personal development.
