- The product itself has potential. - Structured onboarding (though overwhelming).

- Toxic culture actively encouraged by leadership. Instead of fostering a supportive environment, leadership seemed to promote public criticism and negativity. - Unrealistic expectations. I was expected to master seven old call types and seven new call types—each around an hour long—within a short timeframe, with little room for proper learning. - Not allowed to use a script, yet still expected to deliver perfect calls. Despite the overwhelming amount of information I had to retain, I wasn’t allowed to use a script for guidance, making it even harder to meet the impossible standards set. - Feedback was more about tearing people down than building them up. Training sessions often involved my mistakes being publicly dissected, with excessive focus on minor things like moving my mouse too much during a presentation or pasting text incorrectly into Gmail. I was even penalized for sending an email where the text appeared purple instead of black due to Gmail’s formatting when pasting—something completely trivial. - Unprofessional and cliquey environment. Rather than collaboration, the workplace felt judgmental and catty. - Severely impacted my mental health. Even though this happened a while ago, it took me time to feel ready to write this review. After just 60 days, I hit a breaking point—a first in my professional career.

Pros

I have been very impressed by level of communication—and communication style—across the company. There is certainly a lot to do, as there is at any startup, but Bridgit is relatively free from the frenetic throw-spaghetti-at-the-wall approach that's far too common at startups. No egos + empathetic executives make for a solid culture. Resources (budget, tools, etc.) are available as needed.

Kontras

Collaborating across timezones can be tricky, but worth it in exchange for the benefits of remote work.

Where to begin... - Poor management - CEO runs everything based on popularity, hires her friends who have no experience and they magically get multiple promotions a month in - Terrible work/life balance (even though that is one of the "perks") - Belittling during team meetings when concerns are brought up - Shady practices Overall a terrible place to work.
