Great Experience - Marketing Intern bei Boston Event Guide: Mitarbeiterbewertung

I had an amazing experience working at Boston Event Guide. I was made to feel very comfortable, received help when needed and learned about all different aspects of my field. The schedule is very flexible as it is remote with daily meetings and you have the chance to attend fun events. I was given interesting projects and the chance to do a ton of hands-on work where I really got to use my creativity. I have learned a lot more about the different aspects of social media marketing such as how to improve marketing strategies and how to create better content based on our weekly goals. I also learned a lot about influencer marketing as I worked to find quality influencers, reach out to them and help them from the beginning of the process until the end with sending them their tickets. I helped to assist with new event research, edit scripts for emails and DM’s and much more. Throughout the whole summer, I gained extremely valuable experience and knowledge in different aspects of my field.

It is an unpaid position as of right now

I had the opportunity to work at Boston Event Guide as an Event Planning intern during my summer of 2018 and learned a lot from this company. My main focus and project was running all Social Media accounts, but I also received experience in Sales, Marketing, and PR throughout the internship. The owner of this company is a very reasonable and personable individual and cares a lot about his employees. I received commission from any sale I made and also received a bonus at the end of the program for my work. The internship was a mix of independent work and team work so you could also bounce ideas off of others but still work on your own clients.

Depending on what you are looking for, it is a small to medium sized company, but the culture of the company and employees are very welcoming and supportive. The internship is also unpaid because it is Event Planning.
