raises are ridiculous. Usually 1%. Salaries are very low to start with and super hard to get any sort of serious raise (best case scenario is considered to be 2% in my position). A ton of reviews - 2 big ones a year. If you get a bad review (anything worse than "Exceeds expectations", say good bye to your raise. NO opportunity to move up at all.
