Pros
The company kept up with current technologies (computers, software, printing presses) and design trends. The organizational systems in place made for clear workflow.
Kontras
It was a very impersonal job. Sales people would regularly get large bonuses or commissions while the employees working to fulfill those large last minute orders would see no additional incentives, but were required to stay very late or come in hours early to meet deadlines. There seemed to be clear favoritism. Overall pay was mediocre and benefits were thin. The health insurance offered was cost prohibitive. The 401k match wasn't great, and they did not offer vacation or sick days. You had to use PTO for anything that would cause you to miss work. The PTO scaled with years worked and if the company decided to shut down for multiple days during a holiday, you would only get paid for the day of the holiday but would not be compensated for any other days they decided to not be open therefore you would have to use your hard earned PTO because the owner decided to shut down.
