***THIS IS ALL ALLEGED*** - I guess we all have to have that one job from hell that makes us realise our worth. - I helped a little kid who burnt his finger on our lights before my manager told me to stop that and get back to work.

***THIS IS ALL ALLEGED*** - If you apply for Bendon you better hope you never get sick! They would tell employees to "suck it up", "grow up" and come in anyway if they were unwell. Employees were coming into work after being overnight at the HOSPITAL with no voices, coughing and sweating because Bendon was "understaffed" - A.K.A they wanted to rip off their workers rather than hire more people. One time I had extreme pain in my kidneys that started while I was at work, I was struggling to hold myself up from the pain and they refused to let me go home, the manager yelled at me over the phone that I was disturbing their day off and to once again "suck it up because they were understaffed". - They treated me like trash, paid minimum wage with no incentives, and manipulated me to come in outside of my hours - I was a student at the time and they made me stay till 10 pm the night before an important exam. - They were horrible to me. They gave me no training and expected me to fit bras and close the shop up, and blamed me for anything that went wrong. - We got a complaint directly from a crying customer that one of the sales associates was being racist towards Maori customers. I was so excited when I started working at Brendon and prior to this and since I have never had such a horrific job.
