The animals are the best part of BFP. Also, other employees truly care and work so hard.

Shannon’s style of managing others is to be as cruel as possible. She expects you to read her mind and when you don’t, she will make your life miserable. She singles out employees as confidants while destroying others, but just know, your time will come soon. The board is comprised of her family/close friends. There are no board meetings. There is no HR. There is nowhere and no one to talk to when you become her target. There is nothing worth taking a job here.

Pros

I love working here! The mission to spread awareness about animal testing and to help rehome animals who have been used as test subjects is so fulfilling! Shannon is great to work for, too! The office environment is in a beautiful home and there are constantly friendly doggies to pet. She even lets you take your dog to work! The kitchen is always stocked with refreshments; things to eat and drink for everyone! Shannon even buys lunch for her employees occasionally out of her own pocket! She is very generous and pays well above average.
