My former team was the best, likeable, knowledgeable and just fun to be apart of.

Kontras

Management does not care about training or providing with the type of environment conducive of mentoring. I was brought in to do one job, then switched to another job to fill a gap (one that I had never done before and knew next to nothing about). If you don't catch on quick, they pull the rug out from under you, demean you and put all the blame on the worker. That's not only unprofessional, it's hateful, demeaning and irresponsible.

Pros

Offers is the opportunity to do many different things. Can be a good place to start out as an intern or entry-level engineer. Salaries and benefits are decent.

Kontras

Due to high turnover there is a lack of technical knowledge and competency within the company. The company provides little to no mentoring or training, and formal review process is virtually non-existant. Broken or non-existent processes are the rule, as is a nearly complete dependence on "tribal knowledge". The company culture is one of constantly demanding more from the employees, without giving anything back (not even a complement for a job well done). This culture has resulted in a lot of apathy within the company which can make it difficult to get much support on projects. Office space and facilities are old and run-down.
