Pros
1) I have finally found what is meant by work life balance. This job showed me that you are able to have a rewarding, well paying career, but can also be able to drop off and pick up your kids from school. Working hard and also being able to spend time with your kids is encouraged here. I loved not having to have my child in every before and after school program! I also love that if you have a dr. appoitment during the day, you are able to make the time up in the evening. 2) Career opportunity - there are plenty of opportunity here... you can come in as an intern, come in as an HR manager and move to SR HR manager or come in as a Controller and move to management. There are also opportunities to move into training, product development, etc. Or if you love where you are at, you are also not pushed to move up above your interest level. 3) Work - I enjoy working with the CEOS of the small companies we work with. I have been able to learn so much about different industries and feel like BackOps has been instrumental to my career development. 4) CEO - Kristen is very approachable and listens to advice. You can message her at any time and expect to hear back shortly. If you love the company, she will work with you to make sure you thrive. Overall I feel very blessed to have found BackOps. I have learned so much, but have also been able to spend more time with my family. I feel that my pay and benefits package is competitive and I enjoy having 8 holidays and a generous amount of PTO.
Kontras
1) This is my first start up. Things here change quickly. If you are not able to adjust and embrace the change, you might not enjoy this company as much. 2) I wish we had a stable upper management team. Some have been here for a while, but a good chunk has changed multiple times.
