Pros
Some interesting work and some interesting people remain despite a recent exodus. Pay can be OK if you fight for it. Benefits are quite good. Depending on which bit of the business you work in there can be opportunities for travel.
Kontras
The business is still recovering from a re-branding and a significant re-structuring a couple of years ago, in fairness some things are improving and becoming more professional, but some pockets of the business appear to be allowed to operate in isolation. An unfortunate outlier is that the Commercial Solutions business unit leadership culture seems to have been inherited from that of a US acquisition and is way off the code of conduct the wider business is driving to adopt. Swearing, shouting and aggressive behaviour is not uncommon. Whilst the wider business drives to improve it's diversity and inclusion, in particular the consulting arm, the number of senior technical/delivery women in Commercial Solutions is an open joke around the business and has been for some time. There is no sensitivity to any approach other than that of the inherited leadership team. It is embarrassing, leads to stressful working environments for some and yet no one seems to care enough to challenge it. My advice - if you want to work in this company look to the consulting (services) business unit.
