Salary is not competitive. We are constantly told that our compensation is a 'package' which includes bonuses and benefits...every Fortune 500 company's compensation includes bonuses and commissions. Upper management is very slow to adapt and change. Has the feel of a 'boys club'. Men are promoted to management positions from hourly staff positions while women have to climb their way up the corporate ladder one painstaking inch at a time. in the division I work in, the women are held to a higher standard for the same title. In the division I work in, the interviewing process is really long. 3-6 months between submitting an application and getting a job offer.
