They respect your family time- not a lot of additional time required. Job security- no layoffs, and really hard to get fired.

Not a big incentive to work hard. Lots of the people are not very engaged in their jobs- just come in to punch the clock. For those working extra hard, it is not noticed and doesn't tend to pay off for raises, so it is easy to become complacent.
