Pros
Good social mission within the community, great patient care, lots of good people who work hard to make a difference on the clinical and non-clinical sides.
Kontras
Non-clinical side is largely disregarded, and typically gets the lowest caliber of support from central resource areas like HR, IT, etc. Comp and benefits really sub par, especially PTO - yet the company believes it can attract top talent. Virtually no commitment to leadership or staff development - and it shows. A huge, slow moving bureaucracy which resists transformative, meaningful change, and is obsessed with pedigree (MBAs, Six Sigma Black Belt, etc) over actual skills and achievements.
