Pros

Very laid-back atmosphere with friendly co-workers. No personal quotas or statistics that need to be met. Tons of opportunities to learn new skills (some of them highly transferable).

Kontras

Not enough structure or oversight when it comes to policing under-performing technicians or rewarding exceptional technicians. Fairly high turnover in this area with a somewhat "green" group doing most of the work. Very little assistance developing any kind of career plan or future outlook for technicians.
