I genuinely enjoyed my coworkers

I was only paid for billable hours. Travel was not billable nor was it reimbursed and the geographical area was a radius of about 100 miles. I was working 50-60 hrs a week and never once managed more than 25 billable hours. Many of the clients were in school which meant you had to schedule quite late into the evening and on weekends.

Opportunities to help disadvantaged individuals and great network of support/sources of help.

Difficulty to get to full-time. No paid-time off. Pay depends on if your clients show up, which in my experience is too variable to sustain.
