Pros
Remote camp work, usually good conditions. Paid flights to and from. Good equipment. Opportunities for training/refreshers. Kind management, nice HR. Team environment. Always paid on time. We would get small Christmas and birthday presents from management, which was always really sweet.
Kontras
Contract work, can end at the drop of a hat, no matter how long you've been with the company. Doesn't guarantee later or other opportunities but that is the nature of the job. I've seen the only other review on this website and I can verify the complaints against that person were very valid, hence the negative and bitter review. The only con is that it's all piece work and even amazing employees can be let go because that's what piece work is. You need to understand that before applying. I put in 4 great years with this company and was ultimately let go at the end of my contract and there simply wasn't other work. I did understand that.
