Working here as a software engineer was honestly exhausting. There is no clear alignment or planning in development. Everything is driven by “whatever the customer wants today,” and engineers are expected to just drop everything and make it happen, no matter how unrealistic it is. Most of the good people I worked with have already left, which says a lot. The company talks about hikes and growth, but in reality, they don’t happen. Promises are made, but nothing really changes, which becomes very demotivating over time. Work-life balance is almost non-existent. Late-night calls are normal, including 2 AM calls, and you are expected to be available all the time. There’s no proper on-call structure — it’s just pressure. Technically, the setup is far behind the times. There is hardly any automation. Even deployments are done by sharing images with customers, which feels outdated in today’s world. A lot of time is spent firefighting instead of building things properly. Overall, it doesn’t feel like the company is growing or improving. It feels like they are just trying to survive day to day, and the burden of that survival falls on the engineers.
