There’s a lot of behind-the-scenes decision-making, and it doesn’t always feel like people are on the same page—or even working toward the same goals. Communication is poor, and things change suddenly without much explanation. There’s a surprising amount of politics and backchanneling for a company this size. It can feel like you’re constantly navigating landmines. It’s hard to know who to trust, and that makes it tough to feel secure or optimistic about growth.
