Total good ole boys club, the competitive spirit is not setup in a way to empower you to be successful fairly. It is a dog eat dog company, extreme pressure cooker situation which causes employees to act aggressively and not always in the best interest of candidates. Practices of calling each other's clients to work on jobs or doing things like showing up to your candidates interviews unexpectedly are encouraged and accepted as fine. Not a great career path for the "young" recruiters they tend to want to hire, also very hard to actually make money you'll see most of your commission going straight to the top while you're panicking to pay your bills/fill your gas tank (claiming expenses is shifty at best). They don't actually fire anyone (for fear of having to pay unemployment) they just make it uncomfortable enough for you to leave. Micro-management structure for most even those who have been there a while.
