One of the most unethical companies I have ever worked with, and I am not the first to say it. They will steal every penny owed to you at any cost. After 6.5 years there and doing everything that I could to improve systems, this is how it ended. A year long project was due that I sacrificed time with family, health, and sleep to complete was completely disregarded. I worked 60-80 hours for the last three months to save from paying a third party their $185/hr. Once everything was ready to go and users were trained, I was called into the conference room thinking I was going to resolve an issue. I greet the President of the company, and he immediately says we are going in a different direction and letting me go. My reply was, "May I ask why?" His reply, "Does it even matter?" Afterwards, I packed my things and left. No exit strategy on their part, no severance, and no class. The days following were harassments by their attorney and treatment as if I were some criminal. Mind you, all of this was weeks before Christmas. There was a personal vendetta of some sort and this callous behavior is borderline evil in my opinion.
