Pros
The advancement opportunities are either really great or really bad. It depends on your theater location. I was promoted 3 times in my 4 years of employment. You can apply everything you learn to other careers, as AMC gives you great experience.
Kontras
Aside from General Managers and people at corporate, staff is severely underpaid. Due to a grandfather clause, most locations aren't required to pay you time and a half for OT. Poor work/life balance. Some theaters tend to hire outside of the company rather than within.
