Pros

Work life balance can be ok, deep pockets are there when needed for financing projects, you are working for a real reason and cause, it's a big name in the DC work circle, location is ok in penn quarter

Kontras

Put on a happy face and ignore this place is a disorganized management mess, go spend most of your time doing everything but the reason you were hired for. Problems arise and much time is spent 'training', or 'surveys, or meetings to discuss the discussions that were discussed in last years discussions. Perception is more important than actual quality of work. Huge initiatives come and go (flavor of the month) along with massive wads of money. 5 managers talking about what to do while 2 people are around to actual DO the work. Too much middle management and channels to go through to get one thing through, multiple levels of approvals not needed for most things

Pros

I was able to take on multiple responsibilities, like research and volunteer engagement, with consideration of my time and workload from school.

Kontras

At times, I felt like my work wasn’t as important or could’ve been done by my supervisors, especially when projects were close to completion, they would be altered but I understand it was for time efficiency.
