I applied through Teach VIPKID's website and received a response quickly. The interview was scheduled for the next day and began promptly and the scheduled time. I was required to log in to their website to conduct a live online demo class. The class lasted 10 minutes at the end of which I was given feedback and told the hourly rate my performance had earned. After the first interview, there was a short self-guided lesson and a fairly easy test. After that, I had 5 days to book a second mock class that would decide whether I got the job or not. I didn't attend this second interview as I received a better offer. Pro: The system was easy to use, the expectations were clear and my interviewer was very professional. The scheduling is very flexible and allows you to reschedule up to 2 times for any reason. Con: The interviewer often interrupted me to give advice for a minute at a time but didn't pause the timer. At the end, I was chided for time management and lost a good portion of my score. While the hourly rate advertised it 'up to' 22$ I was only offered 16$/h with a possible 2$ bonus for performance.
