After the CV screening I was invited to do a "initial phone screening" with the recruiter. This was just a quick chat with standard interview questions, took around 20 minutes. The second interview was 2 hours long and was conducted by a lead developer. It can be broken down into two parts. The first part of interview the interview questions, they weren't any trick questions and we had a great chat. Second half was a programming challenge where you had to screenshare. You get a bit of choice in what task you did (API/UI) and tech used. In the tech challege they say don't focus on completing the task but instead of writing high quality code. They were emphasizing on adding tests (I think if you don't write tests they will fail you). Unfortunetly this was my folly as I focused too much on writing high quality tests and never completed the task. At the end of the interview the interviewer gave me some quick feedback. Few days later I recieved my rejection with more in-depth feedback which I greatly appreciate.
