I recently had an interview with Acko for the position of software developer, and to my delight, I successfully cleared all rounds of the interview process. I was ecstatic when I spoke verbally with the HR representative about the offer and salary negotiations. However, my enthusiasm turned to disappointment after two weeks when I was informed that Acko could not offer me the position due to an internal issue. This was very disheartening for me, especially after investing my time and effort into the interview process. In my opinion, Acko's lack of transparency and communication during this process was quite disappointing. It would have been more professional if they had communicated the situation earlier instead of making me wait for two weeks. I also feel that they should have provided a more concrete explanation for their decision. Overall, my experience with Acko left me feeling let down and disappointed. While I understand that these things happen, I believe that the company could have handled the situation with more tact and professionalism.

The interview process is a 6 step process:- 1. Exploratory 2. Coding round 3. Design 4. Product Round 5. Hiring Manager 6. HR Round My interview process was online through google meet and i got acquainted with what a real interview is like. Process started in end of October and got completed by end of December due to slight re-schedules from both my and company side. Final Result got to know in January. Each of the interviews went good, got reply from HR in last round saying they will get back within a day. Though did not receive any call or email till few days. Contacted through whatsapp to HR, got to know "They cannot move ahead with the application". Expected a proper feedback around the application process, as it took more than 2 months, and 6 rounds, was eager to know which round or what skills should be improved on. Interview experience was good overall, though communication from HR point view is similar to how a big MNC performs. Candidate has to follow up for the decision, they do not reply when it is not an accept. Acko being a startup should be better in communication to interview candidates. Had few friends working in Acko, did not use referral though, wanted to explore the process by myself. HR process has to be streamlined and proper communication and feedback should be given to candidates as it is the candidate as well who invests a lot of time in the process and sometime prioritizes the company over rest.
