Your new adventure

Coordinate and lead strategy development together with the lead buyers and the manager in charge

Identify potential strategic suppliers based on project requirements together with lead buyers

Developing cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of materials

Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers

Work closely with the legal department to ensure contract terms are favorable to the company

Lead and manage major projects

Communicating with management regularly on major projects

Conducting cost analyses and setting benchmarks for improvement

Developing risk management procedures to mitigate losses in the event of product shortages

Coaching the purchasing team members in their major projects

Your experience s and skills

Completed commercial or technical education (HAK, HTL) or completed studies (FH, University) in the fields of logistics, business administration, technology

At least 5 years of professional experience in purchasing, preferably in the automotive industry or an international industrial company as well as castings commodity experience

Proactive and dynamic buyer personality with technical affinity and passion for our high-tech products

Communicative team player with negotiation skills and ERP routine, ideally in SAP

Good English skills, both written and spoken, basic German knowledge and willingness to learn it

What we offer
You will receive an exciting position in an international company with many interesting benefits . The minimum salary for this position is EUR 58.098,6 gross/year according to the very attractive collective agreement of the metal industry. An overpayment is possible, depending on your qualifications and experience.
